Thankful Thursday

I am trying this. I am thankful always, but I don't often "think on these things". My dh has always stopped me when I was on a downhill trend and said to name 10 things I am thankful for. Doing that alone made things much better! So I begin:

1. The last 2 mornings I have been able to wake refreshed before anyone else and read the Word!! (That alone should count for 100!)

2. The weather is starting to be normal for this time of year, cooler!

3. I have LOTS of tomatos to put up for winter chili meals!

4. I have 2 baskets of laundry to fold and I will officially be caught up! (for about 1 day)

5. I plugged in my sewing machine, which is the 1st step in starting to sew again. (which I haven't done for the past 2 years)

I am thankful to post today, I won't count that since I only listed five. Blessings and remember,

"A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken." Proverbs 15:13

"All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast." Proverbs 15:15

"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." Proverbs 17:22

Love the proverbs you chose. I think it is great you plugged in the machine. Sewing is something I would love to learn to do someday. Have a blessed day!

Hi:
Good list. I've run out of people to give tomatoes to, so now I've started freezing them. Two gallons so far.
Laundry, I won't talk about, but your scriptures are just right!

Blessings, MrsAlphaMale

I love the pictures on your blog! Wonderful thankful list too!
I kind of laughed to myself when I read the part about the sewing machine...I pulled all my sewing stuff out so I could "see" it every day...hoping to "inspire" myself! (Hasn't quite worked yet)
Glad you joined the thankful list!
Be blessed!

I love Proverbs, but they aren't quoted as often as you would think they'd be.
